Tania Russell-Owen

Content and Welsh Language Manager

With over 20 years experience in the youth and youth information sector, and a background in journalism, Welsh speaker Tania works across multiple projects at ProMo Cymru.

Based in North Wales, she manages all content from blogs, information pages, video scripts, promotional materials, social media, learning resources and more. Tania is also responsible for ProMo’s Welsh language practices and policies and manages the translation and production of Welsh content.

Tania is passionate about giving children and young people a voice and co-producing content with them. Work includes speaking with groups of young people to create an Online Safety section for Welsh Government, creating content that speaks to them in a language they understand. Another example was working with a group of refugees and asylum seekers from TGP Cymru to create a script for a video to share their experiences.

If you’re interested in content or Welsh language matters, Tania would be happy to have a chat.
