
Faith Walker

Faith is a devoted daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and grandmother with over 30 years of experience supporting communities across Wales. She co-founded Women Stepping Out, a grassroots organisation promoting education and confidence in the Welsh African Caribbean community.
Being neurodiverse herself, Faith brings a lived insight and inclusivity to all aspects of her work. She’s a qualified youth and community practitioner and holds a BA (Hons) in Community Education and a Master’s in Education.
Faith has delivered research and consultation projects for Diverse Cymru and the South Wales Police and Crime Commissioner. These focused on the lived experiences of African and Caribbean communities, including those affected by dementia. She has spoken on international platforms, including for UNESCO and the International Federation of Social Workers, and has served on the EHRC Wales Committee and Race Alliance Wales.
Faith currently sits on the Adult Advisory Panel for the Children’s Commissioner for Wales. She is the Executive Director of FOCSCT C.I.C., a Disabled People’s Organisation that supports families affected by Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia.
